We are looking for a Proposal Mechanical Chief to be assigned to the Proposal Department at our Istanbul Office.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department of a university,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the design works of power plants and/or industrial facilities, refineries, oil, and gas facilities,
• Preferably has been involved in the engineering processes of at least one combined cycle power plant from start to finish,
• Expertise in the design of static and rotating equipment, as well as package systems within power plants,
• Advanced level of English proficiency,
• Proficient in relevant standards (API, ASME, NACE, NFPA, etc.),
• Experienced in power plant design programs (Thermoflow/CAD/PDMS/SmartPlant, etc.),
• Preferably advanced in using AutoCAD and MS Office programs,
• Preferably experienced in proposal works,
• Strong teamwork, work, and solution-oriented, with strong communication skills,
• No restrictions for domestic and international travel,
• For male candidates, completed military service.

Job Description:

• Review and analyze the employer's specifications, identify the scope and requirements
• Create heat & mass balance diagrams for power plants using Thermoflow GTPro and SteamPro software, and perform basic system design
• Prepare project flow diagrams
• Perform BOP (Balance of Plant) equipment capacity calculations
• Prepare mechanical BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and MTO (Material Take-Off)
• Prepare RFQ (Request for Quotation) packages for Power Island and auxiliary equipment (BOP) in line with the relevant specifications and standards
• Perform technical and commercial evaluations of the obtained budgetary offers
• Prepare compliance and non-compliance (clarification and deviation) documents in accordance with the employer's specifications
• Prepare proposal documents such as datasheets, system descriptions, and performance guarantees
• Calculate the internal consumption needs of the power plant
• Perform man-hour calculations for installation using the company database
• Ensure coordination with other related disciplines.
