Project Engineer

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to be assigned to the project coordination team of the Kiyanly Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Turkmenistan, under our Head Office based in Istanbul.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical/electronic or civil engineering,
- Newly graduated and/or maximum 3 years of experience in project implementation processes of power plants, industrial plants, refineries, petrochemical or gas plants,

- Eager to learn and grow professionally within EPC ecosystem of the power plant projects

- Strong communication skills, driven, efficient, proactive and relentlessly pursues the goals by being solution oriented

- Excellent English language skills for both reading, writing and speaking,
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally,
- Proficient in MS Office programs,
- Male candidates must have completed military service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of the project to detect potential impacts on execution of the project in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner

- Accurate, timely, effective and regular reporting to the Project Coordination Manager

- Take minutes of the meetings that she/he is invited to

- Effective communication with the project team and third parties

- Focus on the relevant project team members on the achievement of key project objectives

- Efficient tracking of the open issues until its resolution and closure to ensure removal of the roadblocks and achieve key project objectives

- Active reading of contracts to pay attention to specific details, such as obligations, timelines, and conditions of third parties
