We are looking for a "Project Finance & Investment Coordinator" to be assigned to our international projects;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering from a recognized institution,
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc) or CFA designation strongly preferred,
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project finance, with a demonstrated track record in structuring and closing renewable energy and infrastructure transactions across multiple geographies,
• At least 10 years of direct experience managing project-level financing processes involving DFIs, ECAs, and international commercial banks,
• Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring, with at least 5 years in a managerial role,
• Advanced financial modeling skills tailored to project-level evaluations;
• Strong understanding of financing instruments, bankability requirements, and contractual structures (PPA, SHA, EPC, O&M),
• Familiarity with international green finance frameworks, E&S compliance, and blended finance models,
• Full professional proficiency in English,
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills,
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally as needed.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and execution of financing transactions for utility-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects (solar, wind, hydro, storage, hybrid) from early-stage development through financial close,
• Serve as the project finance lead across the full transaction lifecycle, coordinating with internal technical, legal, and commercial teams, and engaging with lenders, advisors, and external stakeholders,
• Prepare and present project-specific financing structures, financial models, and risk assessments to internal investment committees and external partners,
• Manage lender due diligence processes and ensure timely coordination with legal counsel, technical consultants, and E&S advisors,
• Negotiate financing agreements and security documentation in collaboration with internal legal and external counsel,
• Ensure alignment of project financing structures with bankability standards, DFI/ECA requirements, and Çalık Enerji’s commercial objectives,
• Support early-stage project development by advising on financing feasibility, risk allocation, and capital structuring options,
• Monitor market trends in renewable project finance and propose innovative, bankable solutions to enhance project competitiveness,
• Contribute to internal knowledge-building and capability development by mentoring junior finance professionals and sharing best practices.
