Purchasing Intern
Qualifications
- 4th-year undergraduate or graduate student in Engineering discipline,
- Preferably available to work at least 4 days per week,
- Experience or strong interest in procurement, effective negotiation, and supplier management,
- Preferably with knowledge of materials, commodities, and production processes,
- Ability to analyze needs effectively and generate alternative solutions,
- A team player with strong analytical thinking skills,
- Research-oriented, innovative, and committed to personal and professional development,
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills,
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken),
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Open to new technologies and preferably familiar with SAP MM and Ariba.
Job Description
- Reviewing and consolidating purchase requests,
- Conducting research and analysis to identify suitable suppliers based on requirements and registering them in the system,
- Managing the tender process from receiving supplier quotations to order placement and invoice entry,
- Creating purchase orders and managing the entire operational process along with product procurement,
- Preparing reports related to procurement processes,
- Supporting the improvement and development of procurement systems and processes.
