Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the project-specific QA/QC Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with the EPC contract.
- Supervise QA/QC works across disciplines including civil, mechanical, welding, NDT, and coatings.
- Review and approve quality documentation, including method statements, material certificates, and inspection reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, API, DNV, AWS) and Employer/Client specifications.
- Coordinate and witness inspections for fabrication, installation, welding, NDT, coating, pressure testing, and other critical activities.
- Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Liaise with Employer’s Engineer, classification societies, and third-party inspectors for quality control and verification.
- Lead internal and external audits, pre-commissioning inspections, and final documentation for system handover (e.g., as-built dossiers, test packs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in offshore or marine infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of offshore construction techniques, materials, and applicable standards (e.g., steel structures, subsea pipelines).
- Preferred certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1/3.2 (Welding Inspector), NACE Coating Inspector, ASNT Level II (NDT).
- Strong leadership, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of Polish is an asset.
