Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of all electrical and telecommunication works on site, including LV/MV power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, instrumentation cabling, fire detection, communication networks, and control systems.
- Supervise subcontractors and in-house teams to ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and telecom systems in accordance with the project drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Polish and international standards, Employer’s Requirements, and health and safety regulations during all electrical and telecom activities.
- Plan and monitor daily activities, coordinate interfaces with civil and mechanical teams, and ensure alignment with the overall construction schedule.
- Review and approve method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, and test procedures for electrical and telecom systems.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE departments to conduct inspections and ensure that all installations are compliant and traceable.
- Manage pre-commissioning and commissioning preparation for electrical panels, switchgear, MCCs, cable terminations, and telecom equipment.
- Interface with the Employer’s Engineer, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities where required.
- Provide technical support for site troubleshooting, resolving non-conformities, and preparing red-line markups and as-built documentation.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for inspections, test results, and daily progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.
- Valid license or certification as an Electrical Works Manager in Poland or eligible for recognition under local law.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical and telecom installation and supervision in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Polish and European electrical regulations and telecom cabling standards.
- Experience with hazardous area installations, EX equipment, and interface with automation/control systems is an asset.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, layouts, termination schedules, and telecom schematics.
- Fluent in English; Polish language proficiency is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Experience in port infrastructure, LNG terminals, or offshore/onshore energy facilities is preferred.
