Mechanical Works Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and oversee installation of mechanical systems, including piping, pumps, valves, HVAC, rotating and static equipment.
* Review and interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
* Ensure mechanical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
* Coordinate with fabrication yards, offshore construction crews, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
* Participate in inspections, pressure testing, flushing, alignment, and pre-commissioning activities.
* Prepare work packs, progress reports, punch lists, and redline markups for as-builts.
* Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems.
* Support resolution of technical issues and change requests during offshore execution.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* 5+ years experience in mechanical construction, with at least 2 years in offshore projects.
* Strong knowledge of offshore mechanical systems, piping, and installation techniques.
* Familiar with international codes and offshore safety practices.
* Proficient in interpreting technical documents and using mechanical design software.
* Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
