Local Logistics / 3rd Party Liasion Officer
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between onshore and offshore sites.
* Liaise with customs, port authorities, and local agencies for import/export clearance.
* Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers (transport, warehousing, freight).
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and documentation requirements.
* Support vessel and crew logistics, including accommodation, travel, and provisioning.
* Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
* Assist in emergency logistics response and contingency planning.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
* 5+ years experience in logistics or operations, preferably in oil & gas or offshore construction.
* Strong knowledge of local regulatory and customs processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with local and international stakeholders.
* Fluent in English and local language (as applicable).
* Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise, or similar).
