Local Logistics-3rd Party Liason

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between onshore and offshore sites.
- Liaise with customs, port authorities, and local agencies for import/export clearance.
- Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers (transport, warehousing, freight).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and documentation requirements.
- Support vessel and crew logistics, including accommodation, travel, and provisioning.
- Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
- Assist in emergency logistics response and contingency planning.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years experience in logistics or operations, preferably in oil & gas or offshore construction.
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory and customs processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with local and international stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and local language (as applicable).
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise, or similar).
