Local Logistics-3rd Party Liason

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between onshore and offshore sites.
• Liaise with customs, port authorities, and local agencies for import/export clearance.
• Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers (transport, warehousing, freight).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and documentation requirements.
• Support vessel and crew logistics, including accommodation, travel, and provisioning.
• Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
• Assist in emergency logistics response and contingency planning.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years experience in logistics or operations, preferably in oil & gas or offshore construction.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory and customs processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with local and international stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and local language (as applicable).
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise, or similar).
