Mechanical Works Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all mechanical works on site, including installation of piping systems, static and rotating equipment, valves, tanks, HVAC, and associated systems in accordance with approved IFC drawings and specifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and in-house teams executing mechanical works.
• Ensure that mechanical construction activities comply with project schedule, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Monitor daily progress, identify delays or issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain targets.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment required for mechanical activities are available and comply with specifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE departments to ensure inspection, testing, and safety procedures are followed during mechanical works.
• Participate in technical meetings with the Engineer, Employer, and other stakeholders.
• Review and approve mechanical method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans.
• Support commissioning activities by preparing mechanical systems for pre-commissioning and energization.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve field engineering issues related to mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical works execution in large-scale EPC projects, preferably marine, LNG, oil & gas, or industrial facilities.
• Proven experience in piping installation, equipment alignment, mechanical completion, and punch list management.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, EN, ISO).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and equipment datasheets.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Polish is an asset.
• Offshore or port area construction experience is preferred.
