Translator
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate written documents (e.g., letters, memos, reports, meeting minutes, safety notices) from local language to English and vice versa.
* Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, briefings, and site visits involving international and local personnel.
* Support administrative tasks such as formatting, filing, and distributing translated documents.
* Ensure translations maintain original meaning, tone, and legal/technical accuracy.
* Assist project managers and coordinators in preparing bilingual correspondence and presentations.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information.
* Coordinate with document control and HR/admin teams for language-related tasks.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field (or proven equivalent experience).
* 3+ years experience in translation/interpretation, ideally in construction or offshore projects.
* Proficiency in English
* Familiarity with construction/technical terminology is highly preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational team environment.
