We are currently seeking for a QA / QC Inspector - Mechanical Electrical Works to join our team in Gdańsk, Poland, as part of a consortium delivering prestigious Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Terminal Project, an international energy investment.Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of mechanical works, including fit-up, welding, alignment, bolting, pressure testing and equipment installation
  • Review and verify material certificates, welding procedures and inspection & test plans (ITPs)
  • Monitor fabrication, installation and testing to ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO and project requirements
  • Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, flushing, cleaning and mechanical completion activities
  • Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs), issue punch lists and follow up on corrective actions
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE and third-party inspectors
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and contribute to final quality dossiers and as-built documentation
  • Support audits and ensure documentation is complete for system handover

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years QA / QC experience in mechanical construction with at least 2 years offshore
  • Certified in relevant inspection disciplines (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, ASNT Level II, API 570/510 preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in offshore environments (e.g., piping, vessels, pumps)
  • Familiar with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, AWS, DNV)
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, test reports and welding documentation
  • Good communication and documentation skills; able to work in multicultural teams
