Telecommunication Works Manager

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead execution of offshore telecommunications scope including PAGA, CCTV, UHF/VHF radio, data networks, satellite comms, fiber optics, and SCADA interfaces.

* Review and approve telecom installation procedures, method statements, and integration plans.

* Supervise telecom subcontractors and offshore installation teams, ensuring timely and quality execution.

* Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, IT, and marine systems teams to manage interfaces.

*Oversee pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities for all telecom systems.

* Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/NEC/ISO standards, and classification society rules.

* Monitor progress, manage punch lists, and support the preparation of as-built documentation.

* Provide technical support to the project team and resolve site issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

* 7+ years experience in telecom systems installation and commissioning, with at least 3 years on offshore projects.

* Strong understanding of offshore telecom systems, structured cabling, and system integration.

* Familiar with international standards (e.g., IEC, ITU, IMO, DNV, ABS) and hazardous area requirements (ATEX/IECEx).

* Experience working with EPC contractors, offshore installation vessels, and system vendors.

* Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
