Accountant Specialist (Gdansk)

Key Responsibilities:

Record and monitor project expenses, vendor payments, payroll allocations, and cost accruals.

Prepare monthly financial statements, cost reports, and variance analysis.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for project operations.

Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims in coordination with procurement and site teams.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and contract terms.

Liaise with offshore site teams to track field expenditures and ensure accurate reporting.

Support audits, financial close-out, and documentation for project handover.

Maintain organized financial records and assist in system data entry (e.g., ERP platforms).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of accounting experience; experience in construction or offshore projects is preferred.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).

Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under project deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills with technical and commercial teams.
