Qa / Qc Inspector - Civil/Hydrotechnical Works
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and quality checks for all civil and hydrotechnical works in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Monitor compliance with the approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC Procedures.
Verify that materials, workmanship, and installation activities comply with the contract and applicable codes (e.g., ISO, EN, PN).
Witness and review site testing activities (e.g., compaction, concrete, waterproofing, grouting, rebar installation).
Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs), propose corrective actions, and ensure proper follow-up and closure.
Ensure all documentation is recorded and traceable (checklists, test reports, calibration, material certificates).
Coordinate with the Employer’s Engineer and third-party inspectors for quality-related inspections and approvals.
Assist in maintaining the project Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure continual improvement.
Support audits and quality reviews as per contract and internal schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in civil or marine infrastructure projects, ideally under FIDIC-based EPC contracts.
Familiarity with hydrotechnical works (e.g., jetty, tunnels, breakwaters) is an asset.
Strong understanding of Polish and European construction standards and material testing procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test plans.
Experience with documentation and control of QA/QC records.
Proficiency in English is required; Polish language skills are a strong advantage.
Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor) is preferred.
