We are currently seeking for a QA / QC Lead Engineer to join our team in Gdańsk, Poland, as part of a consortium delivering prestigious Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) Terminal Project, an international energy investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage the project-specific QA/QC Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with the EPC contract
  • Supervise QA / QC works across disciplines including civil, mechanical, welding, NDT and coatings
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including method statements, material certificates and inspection reports
  • Ensure strict compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, API, DNV, AWS) and Employer / Client specifications
  • Coordinate and witness inspections for fabrication, installation, welding, NDT, coating, pressure testing and other critical activities
  • Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Liaise with Employer’s Engineer, classification societies and third-party inspectors for quality control and verification
  • Lead internal and external audits, pre-commissioning inspections and final documentation for system handover (e.g., as-built dossiers, test packs)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline)
  • Minimum 8 years of QA / QC experience in offshore or marine infrastructure projects
  • Solid knowledge of offshore construction techniques, materials and applicable standards (e.g., steel structures, subsea pipelines)
  • Preferred certifications; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1/3.2 (Welding Inspector), NACE Coating Inspector, ASNT Level II (NDT)
  • Strong leadership, documentation and coordination skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of Polish is an asset
