Accounting Specialist (Warsaw)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Accountant for the Joint Venture (JV), managing all financial operations and compliance obligations.
• Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping in accordance with Polish accounting standards and JV contractual requirements.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cost tracking and cash flow analysis.
• Oversee tax, payroll, and statutory obligations in coordination with local authorities and external auditors.
• Support budget planning and financial forecasting, aligned with the EPC contract framework.
• Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures.
• Coordinate with GAP and partner company finance teams for transparent and consolidated financial reporting.
• Provide financial insights and data to senior management.
• Ensure confidentiality and fiduciary responsibility in managing all JV financial documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing financial operations for Joint Ventures or multi-partner structures.
• In-depth knowledge of Polish accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting obligations.
• Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken) is **mandatory**.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel; experience with SAP or similar platforms is a strong asset.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects is preferred.
