Document Controller
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and manage incoming and outgoing project documents (e.g., drawings, reports, permits, procedures).
* Ensure proper document numbering, version control, distribution, and traceability using Document Management Systems (DMS).
* Support project teams by retrieving, submitting, and tracking documents across engineering, procurement, and construction.
* Interface with contractors, vendors, and client representatives to manage transmittals and documentation workflows.
* Ensure document compliance with project, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain hard copy and electronic archives; assist with audits and close-out documentation.
* Generate document status reports and support progress reporting and quality records.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
* 6+ years of experience in document control, ideally in Oil&Gas, offshore or large-scale construction projects.
* Proficient in DMS platforms (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar).
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with technical document types.
* Good communication skills and ability to manage document flows across multiple stakeholders.
* Understanding of ISO 9001 and document control best practices.
