About Role
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing best testing practices by combining manual and automated testing methods on the data analysis application of our web-based and mobile applications, creating the test automation framework for existing and new features, and writing and maintaining test scenarios. Collaborating with various departments will ensure this candidate team delivers high-quality outputs.
What You Will Do
- Design and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios and scripts related to acceptance criteria, designs, prototypes, or domain knowledge.
- Contribute to the improvement of the API and UI test automation process.
- Document test automation features or team processes as needed.
- Perform comprehensive regression tests when bugs are resolved.
- Conduct regular performance and load tests, create automations and benchmarks to monitor the performance and latency of front-end and back-end services.
- Identify, log, document in detail, and follow up on bugs.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- 1+ years of software test automation experience on web applications
- Experience with software testing methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
- Experience in UI test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress etc.)
- Experience in API test automation tools (Postman, Swagger UI etc.)
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment best practices
- Familiarity with basic data analysis concepts, easy to adapt to working with data heavy dashboards, charts and metrics.
- Good communication/presentation skills.
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as bash, javascript, python, groovy etc.
- Familiarity with automated testing of complex software systems
- Experience with performance/load testing and tools (Locust, JMeter etc.)
