Software Solutions Engineer (UI Support for US Clients)

For our journey ahead, we are looking to build up our team of bright minds further, and we are looking for a Software Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in <Istanbul>.

About the Role 

As a Software Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the web application specifically for the clients in the US region and the corresponding consultant teams. 

You will be working as a full stack support engineer and oversee both backend APIs and frontend services, will be able to investigate the alerts and take actions to resolve them based on the troubleshooting guideline documents and instructions provided by the product development team.  You will be working closely with other support engineers to report and track the resolution paths in case the root cause is not related to the web application but other dependent data processing pipelines.

Since the clients will be in the US region, the regular working hours for this role would be shifted to US East Coast working hours (9:00-18:00 EST, 16:00-1:00 AM TRT). 
 

What You Will Do

• Following our daily processes for errors or issues, and communicating information about these issues to the necessary units
• Communicating with customers regarding daily processes and results
• Debugging software to identify bugs and defects
• Solving problems related to configuration and permission issues
• Providing implementations based on customers’ requests 
   

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum one/two years of relevant job experience
• BSc degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related degree
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of OOP
• Experience with contemporary Javascript (ES6+) and Typescript
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript libraries (React and Express are preferred, Hapi, Nest, Next, Vue, Angular etc. are also acceptable)
• Experience with component-driven architecture and HTML5/CSS(LESS/SASS/SCSS)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, key-value stores and search engines (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, GBQ, Redis, Elasticsearch etc)
• Knowledge about source control systems (GIT, TFS etc)
• Fluent in English in written and verbal communication.
• No military obligation or postponement for at least 2 years for male candidates

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge on cloud infrastructures and cloud-based development
• Experiences with Agile software development practices
• Knowledge design patterns, asynchronous programming, microservices, concurrency, and transactions
