About Role

We are looking for a Release Manager to join our growing SaaS product team. As the Release Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of product releases across multiple environments. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that features are delivered on time, with quality, and with minimal disruption to our customers and internal teams.

What You Will Do:

Release Planning & Coordination

• Collaborate with product managers, engineering, QA, DevOps, and customer success teams to define release scope and timelines.
• Establish and maintain a release calendar across teams and products.

Execution & Monitoring

• Oversee the end-to-end release process, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Monitor and report on release health and progress.

Communication & Readiness

• Communicate release status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure release documentation (release notes, user documentation) is prepared and delivered.
• Organize release readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, and post-mortems.

Process & Quality

• Define and improve release management processes and tools.
• Ensure quality gates are met, and releases are well-documented and auditable.

Risk Management

• Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks and work with teams to mitigate them.
• Coordinate hotfixes or rollback plans when necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in a release management, project management, or similar role in a SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience managing releases across environments (staging, production, etc.)
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage complex technical releases.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with incident management or on-call rotations.
• Technical background or familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, Notion.
