Responsibilities

• Work as part of an Agile software development team.
• Plan, design, execute, and report manual test activities.
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Validate that applications and business processes work in line with functional requirements and expected results.
• Contribute to measuring, monitoring, and continuously improving software quality.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage test cases, defects, and related workflows through TFS.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and desktop applications.
• Previous experience in banking or financial technology projects.
• Experience in at least one of the following banking domains:
• Payment systems
• Loans and credit processes
• Money transfers
• Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance requirements, and regulated software development environments.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Ability to validate API requests, responses, status codes, and backend data flows.
• Knowledge of test planning, test case preparation, defect management, regression testing, and test reporting.
• Experience working with Agile software development practices and tools.
• Experience using TFS for test case management, defect tracking, or software development processes.
• Experience with relational databases and basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative team player who supports knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of test automation concepts.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar automation tools.
• Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript.
• Experience working on banking applications subject to regulatory, audit, or compliance requirements.
