The impact you’ll make

At Paribu, every team member plays a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions As a SOC Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events across cloud, endpoint, and network environments
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing detection rules, correlation logic, and alerting mechanisms
• Analyzing logs and security telemetry to identify suspicious activities and emerging threats
• Supporting incident response efforts through investigation, evidence collection, and root-cause analysis
• Contributing to threat-hunting initiatives and proactively identify security gaps and attack patterns
• Improving SOC processes, playbooks, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and response quality
• Collaborating with Security, IT, and DevOps teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture
• Leveraging automation and scripting to streamline investigations and reduce manual effort

Key competencies

We value skills and potential as much as experience. To thrive in this role requires:

• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or Microsoft Sentinel
• Strong understanding of security monitoring, log analysis, correlation, and alert tuning
• Knowledge of incident response processes, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery
• Solid understanding of network protocols and security concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls, and proxy technologies
• Experience with endpoint security solutions and EDR-based investigations
• Familiarity with threat intelligence, IOC enrichment, and MITRE ATT&CK-based threat analysis
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies
• Understanding of cloud security monitoring and logging across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• Knowledge of authentication systems, IAM concepts, and identity-based attack techniques
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple security events simultaneously
• Clear, concise, and professional communication during investigations and incident response activities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Adaptability to evolving technologies, threats, and operational priorities
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
