About Role

We are looking for Technical Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Responsibilities
•Develop trusting relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and technical challenges, and translating them into robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

•Ensure timely delivery of IT security projects with the right scope, adhering to budgeted costs, and meeting defined SLAs and KPIs.

•Lead project teams to achieve targets by providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring accountability.

•Advise on IT security solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer while aligning with organizational goals.

•Oversee the implementation of new IT security projects and resolution of security-related issues.

•Collaborate closely with network and security teams to ensure seamless implementation of security solutions.

•Develop and implement best practices for IT security operations to enhance client network protection.

•Continuously monitor infrastructure to identify opportunities for improving security measures and mitigating risks.

•Plan, schedule, and track IT security projects to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

•Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential cybersecurity threats and develop mitigation strategies.

•Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

•Manage resource allocation effectively to optimize project outcomes while balancing cost, time, and quality.

•Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure delivery of project components.

•Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate updates on scope, milestones, risks, and critical issues.

Preferred Skills And Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, IT network engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

•Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure.

•Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a system/network engineer or IT architect in a hybrid cloud environment.

•Expertise in:

•Virtualization environments (e.g., VMware).

•Container orchestration tools (e.g., OpenShift/Kubernetes).

•Linux systems and open-source technologies.

•Network engineering concepts such as DNS routing/filtering, malware detection systems, web proxies/content filtering, packet capture tools, and network flow analysis.

•IT security frameworks including risk assessment for infrastructure vulnerabilities.

•Cloud platforms and hybrid cloud integration strategies.

•Backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning.

•Infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios/Zabbix).

•Proficient in project management methodologies focusing on execution within scope, timeframes, and budgets (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred).

•Strong knowledge of IT Service Delivery frameworks such as ITIL.

•Proven ability to lead teams to meet SLAs and KPIs while managing trade-offs between cost, time, and quality.

•Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
