About Role

We are looking for Technical Project Manager - ITSecurity

Responsibilities

•Develop trusting relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and technical challenges, and translating them into robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

•Ensure timely delivery of IT security projects with the right scope, adhering to budgeted costs, and meeting defined SLAs and KPIs.

•Lead project teams to achieve targets by providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring accountability.

•Advise on IT security solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer while aligning with organizational goals.

•Oversee the implementation of new IT security projects and resolution of security-related issues.

•Collaborate closely with network and security teams to ensure seamless implementation of security solutions.

•Develop and implement best practices for IT security operations to enhance client network protection.

•Continuously monitor infrastructure to identify opportunities for improving security measures and mitigating risks.

•Plan, schedule, and track IT security projects to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

•Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential cybersecurity threats and develop mitigation strategies.

•Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

•Manage resource allocation effectively to optimize project outcomes while balancing cost, time, and quality.

•Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure delivery of project components.

•Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate updates on scope, milestones, risks, and critical issues.

Preferred Skills And Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

•Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT security.

•Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and management of network and security devices such as switches, routers, access points (APs), firewalls, load balancers, proxies, VPNs, NAC systems, etc.

•Expertise in:

•Network protocols such as TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), LAN switching (VLANs), VPN
technologies (IPSec/SSL), Wi-Fi standards (802.1x), RADIUS authentication systems, NAC solutions, and proxy servers.

•Security tools such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, QRadar SIEM platforms, Trend Micro solutions, etc.

•Cybersecurity frameworks like NIST CSF or ISO 27001 for compliance management.

•Risk analysis methodologies for identifying vulnerabilities in IT environments.

•Incident response planning and execution for cybersecurity events.

•Cloud-based security solutions for platforms.

•Security monitoring tools such as Splunk or SolarWinds for proactive threat detection.

•Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) are highly desirable.

•Proficient in applying project management methodologies (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred).

•Strong knowledge of IT Service Delivery frameworks such as ITIL.

•Proven ability to lead teams to meet SLAs/KPIs while managing trade-offs between cost, time, and quality.

•Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
