Product Owner - Technical

We are looking for a Product Owner - Technical for our growing Product team!
The Technical Product Owner, together with the Business Product Owner, is responsible for achieving the goals and delivering value within the assigned product group (e.g., Hold, Flow, Spend, App Core, Under18). This role focuses on the technical side of the product group, managing backlog and delivery in line with the defined strategy. The Technical Product Owner works in parallel with the Business Product Owner, at the same level of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field,
- 3+ years of product ownership or technical product management experience,
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements,
- Analytical mindset, able to balance technical debt with business priorities,
- Ability to act quickly in incident and error management on live systems,
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders and business units,
- Result-oriented while maintaining attention to detail,
- Experience in managing dependencies across systems and platforms,
- Proactive in identifying risks, bottlenecks, and scalability issues,
- Knowledge of fintech systems, payment infrastructure, or digital banking platforms,
- Familiarity with regulatory, security, and risk management requirements from a technical perspective.
Required Tools & Skills:
- Project Management: Jira, Confluence, Trello etc.
- API Testing & Documentation: Postman, Swagger
- API Protocols: REST / GraphQL knowledge
- Modeling & Workflow: UML, BPMN, Miro, Figma
- AI-Powered Analysis & Automation: ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Grafana, Kibana, or similar tools for system health and error tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes tasks together with the Business Product Owner according to the product roadmap,
- Manages and prioritizes the backlog based on the balance between technical debt and business value,
- Prepares user stories and acceptance criteria,
- Details requirements and clarifies business rules,
- Creates process flow diagrams, UML models, and business scenarios,
- Works with the technical team to follow sprint planning, testing, go-live processes, and keeps the team informed,
- Supports QA and UAT processes and carries out acceptance,
- Manages stakeholder communication through rituals, meetings, roadmap, and release notes coordination,
- Establishes documentation standards and ensures their continuity,
- Defines and tracks product KPIs together with the Business Product Owner; monitors system performance and implements technical improvements,
- Collaborates with the Business Product Owner to ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements from a technical perspective,
- Supports feasibility and projection studies,
- Coordinates the development roadmap with the technical team and manages technical dependencies,
- Ensures alignment with Product Designer deliverables and guarantees the technical feasibility of designs,
- Monitors system health and ensures immediate detection of errors through monitoring processes,
- Manages communication with third-party technical vendors and service providers.
