We are looking for a Regional Business Leader for our growing Global Sales team.
Job overview:
This strategic leadership role will be responsible for driving sales, expanding partnerships, and fostering revenue growth in the Azerbaijan market. Additionally, the Regional/Country Business Leader will provide guidance and oversight to all other junior sales associates within the business development department.
Qualifications:
- Well-versed in the market dynamics and cultural landscape of Azerbaijan, with proven experience in regional business development,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, revenue growth, and business development strategy—preferably in the payments or fintech industry,
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, large-scale business partners, and strategic stakeholders,
- Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to act quickly and effectively,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and prepare reports for senior management,
- Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively with marketing, product development, and other internal departments,
- Continuously monitors market trends and competitor activities; able to represent the company professionally at industry events and conferences,
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Azerbaijani is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for Azerbaijan market, aligning them with the company's overall growth objectives,
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to expand the company's presence in the Azerbaijan market.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Lead the effort to achieve and exceed sales targets, driving merchant onboarding and revenue growth in Azerbaijan market,
- Collaborate with sales team to optimize the sales process, enhance customer acquisition, and increase the conversion rate.
Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, enterprise businesses, and other strategic partners in Azerbaijan market,
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and promptly address any customer complaints or concerns.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly review business development performance metrics for Azerbaijan market and provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement,
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, detailing the progress and achievements of the business development team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and achieve overall company objectives.
Industry Insights and Networking:
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry changes, and competitor activities in the Azerbaijan market,
- Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the organization and gather market intelligence.
