We are looking for a Reinsurance Executive to join our growing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
- Preferably experienced in reinsurance, or at least 1-2 years of experience in the insurance sector,
- Good command of English,
- Basic understanding of reinsurance principles and general insurance practices,
- Analytical mindset with solid reporting and data interpretation skills,
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities,
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset,
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy,
- Motivated to build a long-term career at Sompo.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and report reinsurance treaty statistics,
- Assist with the preparation and management of reinsurance treaty documentation,
- Contribute to reinsurance treaty renewal activities,
- Monitor treaty terms, deadlines, and obligations,
- Prepare and communicate reinsurance renewal requirements for system implementation and participate in validation testing to ensure accurate setup and operation,
- Contribute to regulatory and statutory reporting requirements,
- Prepare and submit regular bordereaux and other reinsurance-related reports,
- Support internal reinsurance training initiatives.
