Accounting&Tax Manager

WQ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and tax
- CPA (SMMM) or equivalent certification is a strong plus
- Experience in startups and/or fast-growing environments is preferred
- Big4 background is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Logo, Luca, or similar)
- Strong command of MS Office applications
- In-depth knowledge of the Uniform Chart of Accounts
- Strong knowledge of Turkish Accounting and Tax regulations, with up-to-date awareness of changes
- Proven experience managing e-invoice, e-ledger, e-archive, and SGK processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, improve, and establish processes
- High sense of ownership and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a non-hierarchical, ownership-driven culture
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
WQ Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of all accounting and tax processes across WQ Group companies
- Oversee invoicing processes (e-invoice, e-archive, etc.), including control, approval, and recording
- Ensure compliance and execution of all electronic applications (e-ledger, etc.)
- Manage and ensure timely and accurate tax filings and declarations
- Prepare monthly cost analyses and financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes
- Manage and monitor reconciliation processes
- Lead and coordinate independent audit processes
- Provide required reports and documentation to stakeholders such as investors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
