Budget and Controlling Specialist

WQ Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual budgets
• Performing budget vs. actual comparisons and preparing basic variance analyses
• Assisting in the preparation of IFRS/TFRS-compliant financial statements
• Providing data and analytical support for investment projects and feasibility studies
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Assisting with documentation and coordination during independent audit processes
• Collaborating with the Accounting Department during month-end closing activities
• Preparing basic ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by management
• Supporting the preparation of cash flow statements
• Assisting in the monitoring and reporting of departmental budgets
• Monitoring key financial KPIs and cost drivers across departments
• Developing and maintaining financial controlling models to track operational and financial performance
• Participating in the implementation of internal financial controls and procedures

WQ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in financial control, reporting, or audit; audit experience is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of IFRS and general accounting/reporting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility
• Team player with good time management and organizational skills
