HR Generalist
Scorp Inc. is an innovative technology company with offices in Istanbul and San Francisco. Founded in 2014, we initially launched the Scorp app but have since shifted our focus to developing mobile applications centered around social media and live streaming. Our apps are active in 182 countries, with one app reaching 600,000 daily active users and another engaging 400,000. In 2023 alone, we gained over 150 million new registered users, supporting more than 25 languages.
As part of this growth, we are opening our Brazil operations, and we are looking for a Freelance HR Generalist (Brazil). Your mission will be to act as a catalyst and integrator of the People strategy in the different areas of the organization. Transfer, implement and ensure compliance with People policies and procedures driving the necessary transformation for the evolution of the business. Be the link between the different departments of the organization and the People area. This position will be responsible for expanding the internal customer base in Brazil and building customer loyalty through excellent service, building customer loyalty, and exceeding customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Professional studies in Psychology, Human Resources, Administration, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Hr Roles.
- Advanced Portuguese and English (mandatory – daily interaction with global teams).
- Previous experience in digital companies (social networks, streaming, interactive platforms) Desirable.
- You are a person driven by purpose and values.
- Experience in cultural change desirable.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills.
- Excellent customer and people management skills as well as excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-changing, startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Support in attracting talent, onboarding process and adaptation of new employees.
- Administrative management of personnel attention such as: health insurance administration, personnel file administration, vacations, absences, expenses and others.
- Support in the management of legal issues, internal communication, occupational health and safety, performance evaluations, etc.
- Lead the payroll process: news, queries, reports, among others.
- Together with the manager, identify, develop and recognize talent.
- Support organizational change projects by being a liaison between the People area and the business areas.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of the processes, tools and policies of Corporate People. objectives.
- Support employer branding and local talent market insights.
- Collaborate closely with the global People & Culture team based in Istanbul.
