What You'll Be Doing?

• Advise Evyap on K-Beauty trends, emerging technologies, consumer insights and innovation opportunities, with a focus on identifying trends before they become mainstream.
• Provide expert guidance on formulation, innovative ingredients, textures, sensorial experiences, and delivery technologies relevant to Korean and Asian beauty.
• Advise on Korean packaging innovations, including new formats, sustainability and enhanced consumer experience.
• Support benchmarking of Evyap's product portfolio against Korean and broader Asian market standards, identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, marketing, and product development teams to translate Korean market insights into actionable product innovation briefs.
• Advise on regulatory, safety, and compliance considerations relevant to personal care formulations intended for or inspired by the Korean market.
• Evaluate potential partnerships, suppliers, and raw material sources connected to the Korean personal care ecosystem.
• Contribute to trend-spotting and competitive intelligence on Korean and regional personal care innovations (ingredients, packaging, sensorial trends, sustainability practices).
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal R&D teams on Korean market dynamics and formulation best practices.

Who We're Looking For?

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in R&D within the personal care / cosmetics / hygiene products industry, with substantial hands-on experience in or focused on the Korean market.
• Proven track record of developing or advising on personal care formulations (body wash, hair care, or related categories) and packaing solutions for the Korean or broader Asian beauty market.
• Deep understanding of Korean beauty (K-beauty) trends, ingredient innovation, consumer preferences, and regulatory landscape.
• Strong network and familiarity with Korean raw material suppliers, contract manufacturers, and innovation ecosystems is a plus.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; Turkish language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to translate technical/market insights into practical recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Available for a consultancy-based engagement (part-time, project-based, or retainer — to be defined based on candidate availability).
